Do I have to be a club member to buy a homesite?
No — you do not need to be a member before you buy. But all homeowners are members of the club: membership comes with the homesite, beginning at lot purchase.
When does my membership start?
At lot purchase. Not at move-in, and not when the house is finished.
Can I bring my own builder?
Every Soleta residence is built by a Designated Builder. That is what makes shared standards and a defined process possible, and it is presented as a benefit rather than a restriction. Within that system you have two paths: SIGNATURE, a proven plan made yours, or CUSTOM, designed around you.
Can I bring my own architect?
Residences are designed within the Designated Builder system. A CUSTOM residence is developed with a Designated Builder around your homesite and your family.
How long does it take to build?
That depends on the path and the plan. A SIGNATURE plan has already been drawn, refined and built, which removes the design phase entirely. Your Designated Builder will give you a schedule for the plan you choose.
Is there a time limit to start building?
Yes — construction must begin within 12 months of lot closing.
What do homesites cost?
Current pricing is listed on the homesites map — select any available lot to see its price. For anything not shown, ask us and we will send the current schedule.
How many homesites are there?
Ninety-three in total. That is the entire community.
Are there move-in ready homes?
Not at present. Completed residences are expected to become available over time, and we will list them here when they are.
Where is Soleta?
Myakka City, Florida. Sarasota Bradenton International Airport is 26.8 miles away. See The Area for distances to groceries, services, dining, the beaches and both airports.
Is Soleta far from everything?
It is far enough out that the land still looks like Florida, and close enough in that the everyday things are a short drive. The Area lists the distances in miles rather than drive times, because miles do not change with traffic.
How far is the nearest grocery store?
Publix at Fruitville Farms is 16 miles — about 22 minutes. See The Area for the full list.
How far are the beaches?
Siesta Key Beach is 29 miles — about 42 minutes. See The Area.

Can I see it before I decide?
Yes, and you should. A decision at this level is made on the property.
